Question 1

Does BlowUpImage upload my photos?

Accepted Answer

No. All editing happens locally in your browser using HTML5 Canvas and WebAssembly. Your original image only leaves your device if you explicitly choose to save the project to the cloud.

Question 2

Do I need to install anything?

Accepted Answer

No installation is required. BlowUpImage runs entirely in a modern web browser on desktop, tablet, or phone.

Question 3

Is there a free tier?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The full editor is free. A Pro subscription (US$12/month, US$59/6-month, or US$125/year) unlocks batch export, un-watermarked share downloads, and all AI features.

Question 4

Can I share my edits with a client without them signing up?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every saved project has an on/off Share toggle in your Dashboard. Enabling it gives you a public /p/<token> URL that anyone can view — they see a full-screen preview and can download a watermarked JPG. No account needed.

Question 5

What file formats does BlowUpImage support?

Accepted Answer

You can load standard image formats supported by your browser (JPEG, PNG, WEBP, HEIC on iOS). You can import .cube LUTs and Lightroom .xmp presets, and export edits as JPEG or PNG.
